Wayne Thiebaud

Thiebaud, and American painter (born 1920) uses thick paint and vivid colors to create images of man made objects. His work depicts ordinary objects, often in a series, with simple backgrounds-

Thiebaud made these wonderful paintings of San Francisco.

He even applied his colorful skills to landscapes.
