Posting your Creative Process

A Very important part of developing the 20X30 is the PROCESS of DEVELOPING the idea behind the image.......

Post an image of your BRAINSTORM map...... be sure it is easy to see what the THEME, or CONCEPT is.....

The items on the edges of your map are the SUBJECT of the artwork..... They are the CLUES to help us know what the artwork MEANS...

I used SATURATION (greyed colors) to push back areas, and clean colors to come forward..to make

I  used VALUES the most to make it look ROUND....

RULE OF THIRDS

Here are some other resources about that "Rule Of Thirds" idea for composition....

Set up the built in grid in Photoshop to make a "rule of thirds" grid for you!!! Follow these steps:

Open Photoshop's "preferences" controls... and choose "grid".


Set up the spacing of the grid lines and the division of the grid as shown here....



Lastly, to turn on and off the grid, hold the "command key" and press the ":" key...

done!!!
